innovation realized
We've done a lot of jobs for a lot of clients over our fifteen years in business. But big jobs for fast-growing clients have a way of boiling to the top.
We present a few select engagements here, roughly in reverse chronology in terms of job start date.
We've got more than 30 deliverables under our belt in the past year, ranging from corporate development strategy to marketing materials to partnership development and management. The big win so far? Helping to drive, close and manage ShopVisible's strategic partnership with Amazon.
Marc Colando, founder of ipi.net, also co-founded this
TV-on-the-Internet startup in 2006. His co-founder brought the initial seeds of the TIOTI concept along with design skills, while Marc assembled the virtual team of talent that baked the concept into a Series A-funded company.
This #2 microprocessor company (behind Intel®) used ipi.net's ChannelCart™ to launch an aggregated storefront. AMD products at retailers like Best Buy, Amazon and PC World (UK) were automatically parsed so that online shoppers could buy from any of these retailers on the AMD site and on co-branded Microsoft partner portals.
We spent more than three years at EarthLink, moving the needle from dialup-dependent to broadband-driven with direct monetization of subscribers through advertising and marketing. We also spent a lot of time building online extensions of concepts from the still hot CP+B agency in Miami and learned some great new tricks in the process.
OK, so the merger hasn't exactly been a big win for Sprint. But we didn't suggest the corporate marriage. We just deployed ChannelCart™ to create a unified online storefront where customers could spend money on equipment, services and accessories – something that took more than two years to be done "for real" on back-end systems.
Universal McCann is a full spectrum media service provider, and part of McCann Worldgroup – one of the largest advertising and marketing agency networks in the world. UM formed a multi-year joint venture with ipi.net in London to leverage our creative services and products for clients like Microsoft, Virgin Atlantic, MasterCard and BMW.
Vodafone is the world's leading mobile provider, with a significant presence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa – as well as North America through a substantial equity interest in Verizon Wireless. The ipi.net UK team spent several years reporting directly to Vodafone's European CIO to deploy MMS messaging and interactive Vodafone live! services across 10 countries and 12+ languages.
For nearly 7 years, we did everything – and we mean everything – online at NationsBank and then Bank of America. More than 20 lines of business used ipi.net for strategy, architecture, design and/or development. We coordinated multiple Board of Directors presentations and handled analyst presentations on Wall Street for the former CEO. Bank of America Ventures eventually invested US$8.3mm for a 10% stake in ipi.net and later absorbed key team members to run interactive services internally as part of the deal.
Emory Healthcare, a US News & World Report "America's Top Hospitals" honoree for 2009, used ipi.net to architect the foundation of their online presence and CMS. We built solutions to match patients with clinical trials and Emory-affiliated physicians in their neighborhood. The Emory Healthcare Website has evolved substantially since our early involvement, but the fingerprints of our launch architecture can still be seen in key areas.
